1. Bookings & payment
All lessons and packages are booked in advance through this website, phone or in person. Full payment for individual lessons is required at or before the lesson. Packages are payable up-front and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
2. Cancellations & rescheduling
- Free rescheduling with more than 24 hours' notice.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson are charged in full.
- No-shows are charged the full lesson fee.
- Packages are non-refundable but transferable to a family member with written approval.
3. Learner requirements
Students must hold a valid South Australian learner's permit (or overseas equivalent where allowed) and present it at every lesson. Students must be fit to drive — no alcohol, drugs or medication that impairs driving.
4. VORT, CBT&A and MDI preparation
Official government assessment fees are separate and payable directly to the South Australian Government. Kar-Key Driving Academy provides preparation, coaching and vehicle hire only. We cannot guarantee a pass result.
5. Vehicle & safety
Our dual-controlled vehicles are fully insured for driving instruction. The instructor may end a lesson early if a student's behaviour is unsafe; the lesson will still be charged.
6. Conduct
We expect respectful behaviour toward instructors and other road users. Discriminatory, threatening or unsafe conduct will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
7. Website use
Content on this website (photos, logos, pricing, curriculum) is owned by Kar-Key Driving Academy and may not be reused without permission. Account holders are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected lesson or package.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
